What to do in Treviso in one day

Treviso’s historic centre is compact and flat. This itinerary follows a natural walking order, from squares to canals and city walls, at an easy pace.

Morning: squares and porticoes

Start at Piazza dei Signori and Palazzo dei Trecento. Continue through covered streets and painted façades to the cathedral and Santa Caterina Museum.

Midday: canals and Pescheria

Walk past Isola della Pescheria, the Buranelli canal and Fontana delle Tette. This short stretch gathers some of the city’s most recognisable scenes.

Afternoon: walls and the Sile

Walk along the walls and the Santi Quaranta and San Tomaso gates. If time allows, finish beside the Sile river.

Local flavours

Try typical products and dishes: tiramisù, radicchio rosso di Treviso IGP, prosecco, sopressa and local cheeses.
